The Antalya delegation was welcomed at the City Hall in London's financial district.


Antalya Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu and Deputy Mayor Emin Gül, who went to London for a visit, were hosted at the London Metropolitan Municipality Hall in the capital's financial district.



Kemer Tourist Hoteliers Association Secretary General Ayşegül Zeybek, Viking Hotels official Can Kobal, Edwin Holidays owner Uğur Bulut and Şenel Gürlek also attended the delegation. Guests were welcomed by London Metropolitan Council Representative and police committee member Unmesh Desai. Among the participants of the event organized by the former mayor of Enfield Municipality, Saray Karakuş, were International Diversity Festival representatives, Southwark former Mayor Sunil Chopra, festival founder Mustafa Aydın and committee members Akın Koyuncu and Ali Rıza Bozdağ. Authorities inspected the City Hall venue for next year's festival.


INFORMATION EXCHANGED

Emphasizing the importance of realizing the festival, Karakuş said, "Every event that gives the message of equality and diversity in a time when wars are not over and bombs are still falling on cities today is important, and that is exactly why we will be in solidarity for the International Diversity Festival." While Topaloğlu shared Kemer's experiences in tourism and local government, he exchanged information with his counterparts in London. It was stated that the meeting was productive for both parties and that the groundwork was laid for future collaborations.
